SFI 29.1 6-Bolt Automatic Transmission Flexplate
- Includes bolt patterns for 1g and 2g torque conveters
- 6-bolt in a 2g swap still requires adapter plate for proper
pump spacing
- Allows use of 8 bolts with a converter modified to accept
8 bolts
- Thicker and Stiffer design helps keep bolts tight in high
power applications
- May require rear cover lower flange edges trimmed
- Inspection cover will no longer fit
- Uses a single starter plate
- Recommended to grind converter bolts to length and head height
clearance and torque to 50ft-lbs with red loctite
- 1g applications can use Allen bolts for the converter
- M10x1.5 is early 1g and M10x1.25 is all other
- SFI 29.1 Approved
